I first met Guy in 1996, when I read his book “Selling the Dream”, and he has gone on to write fifteen books that have been both New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestsellers.

I was on a panel years ago with Bankers who were complaining about the amount of energy Bitcoin uses. I turned to them and said, “Banks use more electricity than all of Bitcoin mining COMBINED!”. They looked at me stunned of course. My point was easy. If you look at all the lights left on in the buildings, the computers running, the big lights in the parking lots on 24 hours a day, the signs on their buildings, etc., their footprint is higher. But, I also pointed out that BTC mining can go green and efficient. I stated about Oman doing no-flare mining, where you can an existing gas well and get free electricity. Again, STUNNED looks. Well, it’s here—just as I predicted.
I recall having dinner with Jordan Belfort over a year ago, and I explained this principle to him.

Deepfakes could become a massive “opportunity” for Blockchain and NFT’s. How you say? Imagine if a Political Leader had an Official PR account and each release was tied to an NFT with a unique number. You could then instantly verify if the video or press release was legitimate. This is a super easy solution and great use of NFT’s. For an entertainer, it will be just as important.
